Passports

Offshore Visa Services can also assist with obtaining passports from different embassies, high commissions, consulates and honorary consulates where representation is in Australia. Obtaining passports can sometimes be difficult, time consuming to find the right information and in most cases the travel is urgent so there can be no time wasted in locating the information required. Some countries however do require a personal appearance by the applicant.

Authentification / Notarization

In almost all cases where secondment on staff is involved the receiving countries Immigration requirements will request that original documents including birth certificates, marriage certificates and qualifications will need to be assessed by relevant government bodies including the Department of Foreign Affairs and trade as being Authentic and then an application is to be submitted to the countries representation to be officially stamped. This process can be very time consuming as well as frustrating.

Police Clearances

When applying for long term visas for offshore countries in almost all cases you are required to provide police clearances for countries that you have lived for a period of 12 months during the last 10 years. These Police Clearances are generally applied for through the countries representation and sometimes through the relevant authorities for the country concerned.
